Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to the 2026 EACTAIC ECHO Course, taking place at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Campus Benjamin Franklin, from June 13th to 16th, 2026.
After the great success of the last editions, it is a privilege to host this event in Berlin, at Europe's largest and advanced university hospital. The EACTAIC ECHO Course has become a cornerstone for learning and collaboration in perioperative echocardiography, and we are thrilled to welcome you back.
This year's course promises to deliver an interactive and insightful experience. From small-group workshops to practical sessions in wetlabs and real-world applications of echocardiographic imaging, the program is designed to enhance your skills and broaden your expertise in a truly immersive way.
In 2026, the course will offer the following focused tracks:
1. Basic Course: A practical introduction to perioperative echocardiography, ideal for those starting their journey in this field.
2. Advanced Course: A deep dive into advanced techniques and their applications in cardio-thoracic-vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, and intensive care settings, tailored for experienced professionals looking to push their practice further.
3. Certification Course: A dedicated program to prepare participants for the EACVI perioperative TEE exam, complete with interactive discussions and mock exam.
We've taken your feedback from past years to heart and have worked closely with our faculty to build a program that is engaging, relevant, and impactful. This event is not only an educational opportunity but also a chance to connect with experts, share ideas, and advance the field of perioperative ultrasound together.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we warmly invite you to join us in Berlin for what promises to be an inspiring and productive experience. Registration will open soon, and we encourage you to reserve your spot early.
We look forward to welcoming you to the 2026 EACTAIC ECHO Course and to making this year's event one to remember.
