Learning Objectives

After participating in this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Understand the future scientific research and educational opportunities through the collaboration between EACTAIC and the Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia (JCVA), the specialized journal in the field, to develop knowledge of the EACTAIC members, JCVA subscribers, and their followers.
  • Identify the position and roles of artificial intelligence (AI) in the modern practice of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular anaesthesia and intensive care.
  • Recognize the international patient safety standards in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular anaesthesia and intensive care.
  • Understand the need to achieve diversity in practice and publishing in EACTAIC and JCVA.
  • Demonstrate the principles of ethical integrity in research and publishing in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular anaesthesia and intensive care.
  • Understand the future actions for scientific research ethics and diversity by the JCVA.
  • Understand the future EACTAIC actions for utilizing AI and ensuring patients’ safety standards.
